We are looking for a Production assistant as well as Production workers

As a production assistant, some of the tasks will include:

·   Supporting the Operation’s and QA manager with daily operations tasks

·   Organizing materials for packaging runs (counting bags,Counting boxes )

·   Moving pallets

·   Ensuring pallets are wrapped properly

·   Establish work priorities and assign work when needed

·   Help with shipments and receiving/verifying quantities.

As a production worker, some of the tasks will include:

·   Ensure compliance with security measures, standard operating procedures (SOP), Good Production Practices (GPP) and government regulations for all tasks/equipment related to manufacturing, processing and packaging.

·   Sanitize and set-up all production equipment, machinery, supplies required for processing

·   Sanitize, organize and prepare all production and processing areas.

·   Package cannabis material, weighing, scanning, labelling and documenting in accordance with SOPs and regulations.

·   Complete required documentation and batch records, collaborating with all internal teams as required

Qualifications and Education Requirements for the Assistant Production

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an asset

• Highly organized and ability to work both independently and within a team environment

• Be able to communicate in both French and English

• High school diploma or GED required

• DEC/AEC in quality

• 1 - 3 years prior production/manufacturing experience OR 2+ years relevant lab technician experience. – Cannabis/Food/beverage industry experience a plus.

• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.

• Familiarity with lab safety and handling of hazardous materials.

• Readily accepts instruction from management/supervisors and executes effectively.

• Needs to be reliable and open to a flexible schedule.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Ability to read, write, and keep records.

• Strong computer comprehension capabilities including Excel and Word and various quality programs

• Knowledge of Microsoft software i.e. excel, office, etc.. ERP systems an asset

Qualifications and Education Requirements for the Production workers

·   Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an asset

·   Post-secondary education preferred

·   Be able to communicate in both French and English

·   Preferred Skill Set

·   Highly organized and ability to work both independently and within a team environment

·   Punctual and responsible

·   Knowledge of Microsoft software i.e. excel, office, etc.. ERP systems an asset

·   Must be flexible if required to work overtime on occasion
